The big Texas/OU game is this Saturday. If you’re traveling to Dallas, keep in mind that the Dallas PD will be out in force to enhance their revenue. I mean, they’ll be out in force to make sure you’re safe. Don’t drink too much, even if you’re not driving. In the past, a lot of people have been arrested for public intoxication even if they weren’t acting like idiots.
ESPN’s College Gameday will be broadcasting in Dallas early Saturday morning from 9 AM to 11 AM. If you want to holler at Corso, they’ll be somewhere in the State Fair Grounds. I don’t know exactly where. If anyone knows for sure, leave a comment. The game is supposed to start at 11 AM, so don’t spend the whole time at the Gameday booth if you have tickets to the game.

The Cotton Bowl has had plenty of updates the past year. It now holds over 90,000 fans. The fans may actually be able to go the bathroom or get a snack and make it back to the seats before the game is over! Take a look at some of the updates here:

If you’re a Longhorn => The Dallas Texas Exes are holding events all week. Some of them have already happened, but you might get a chance to attend some. Here’s a link:

If your team is blue after losing in the Cotton Bowl, why not attend the SMU-Tulsa game? The Ponies need all the help they can get, and your presence is needed! If anyone talks trash to you that you lost (there will be plenty of Tulsa fans there, too), remind them that their team would get crushed by yours. It will be a big morale booster, plus you get to see more football. That’s always a plus. The game is at 7 o’clock Central. The football stadium is on SMU’s campus. It’s right off of Highway 75 and Mockingbird. Here’s a link with more information:

It's 11:54 and OU Sux! They suck even more than Ben Affleck in the movie Pearl Harbor!
